AIR SETTING MORTARS

 

Our “Refraset” mortars are wet ready mixed or two components to be mixed in situ. it is the mortar of choice for joining heavy duty bricks or insulating fire bricks.

 

"Refraset" advantages:

 

• Excellent bonding strength dried and after fire. The joint is stronger than the brick.

• It does not run or soften between the bricks.

• It can be used with all kinds of bricks; fireclay, super duty or high alumina.

• No shrinkage at the joint.

• Effectively stops air and temperature infiltration 

• "Refraset" is a ready mix with 3 months shelf life or 2 components easy to mix with 2 years shelf life.
